Charlie Dodd is our Associate Pastor of Singles/MAC. He received his undergraduate degree from Baylor University, and his Masters in Religious Education from Southwestern Baptist Theological Seminary.
Charlie and his wife, Jan, came to First Woodway in the Fall of 2003. They have served churches in Georgetown, Temple, and Midland, Texas plus Oklahoma City.
Charlie and Jan have 3 children, one daughter-in-law, and a new granddaughter! Ryan and Kate Dodd live in Richardson, and they are the proud parents of granddaughter, Andi.
Kristen, their daughter lives in Dallas, and Jordan lives in Arlington and goes to UT Arlington.
Charlie' s experiences are surrounded by a love for the local church -- the body of Christ. Missions that include global and local encounters with God's Kingdom work. Teaching and leading Bible study, training leaders locally, at Glorieta Baptist Conference Center, and in many states. He has some writing and editing experiences with Lifeway and other publishing groups in Baptist life.
He enjoys reading, morning walks, and keeping up with Jan's "To Do" list!
