Encountering The World of Islam

Islam was founded more than 600 years after the resurrection of Christ. It is considered, by some, to be the greatest test of Christian relevance in the world today. Sadly, Christians rarely reach out to Muslims. Many Christians hold mistaken stereotypes that make Muslims seem unattractive. Some Christians find it difficult to relate to Muslims. Others simply don’t know how to interact with their Muslim neighbors. Encountering the World of Islam can help break down these barriers.
Explore the Muslim world and God's plan for Muslims. Investigate Islam through this positive and hopeful book which covers the life of Muhammad, the history of Islamic civilization, Islamic beliefs, Muslims today, and their everyday lives across the diverse cultures of different Muslim peoples from Morocco to Indonesia. Also gain insight into Muslim culture and worldview, Christian outreach toward Muslims, our response to Islam, and prayer for the Muslim world. Shepherding a Child's Heart

The Quest for Authentic Manhood
by Dr. Robert Lewis
The Quest for Authentic Manhood is the foundational level or ground floor of manhood. This 24-session study focuses on a man's core identity and gives an overview of basic manhood issues. It will help men deal with various identity issues by looking back at past wounds and other things that may have distorted their idea of biblical masculinity. Throughout the course of the study, men will learn how to clearly define manhood and will finally be able to give a succinct and passionate answer to the questions, "What is a man?" and "What am I living to be?" (Men only)

Authentic Manhood, Winning at Work & Home
