When Jesus calls us, he calls us to something much bigger than ourselves. As the Church, we are commanded to be the hands and feet of Christ in the world. This is more than a pithy saying or a figure of speech—we are called to be his tangible presence in the world, working to further his Kingdom. We do this by caring for both the spiritual and physical needs of the world, whether it is our next-door neighbors or people across an ocean.
