Sunday Mornings
Your child will love and anticipate Sunday Mornings at First Woodway. Your child is invited to get connected at 9:00 am in a Bible Study class, then stay for 10:15 am kids' worship, created to be especially relevant to their lives: Kindergarten-First Grade in "Hallelujah House!" and Second-Sixth Grades in "The WORD."

Bible Study: Infants - Sixth Grade
Sundays will never be the same! We invite your kids to a new and exciting way to experience God. Each week your kids will draw closer to Jesus through hands-on active Bible study with our caring and gifted leaders. This will be a time packed full of fun for your child with praise and worship, great stories from the Bible, creative skits, games and activities, and fun with friends.

Hallelujah House: Kindergarten - First Grade
Imagine a room JUST for kids... with a barn, farmhouse, silo, country store, post office, and theatre stage... a room full of fun things for kids to do, see, touch & experience! And then imagine phenomenal, fun leaders who bring it all to life through their wacky alter-egos: Rowdy & Red, and SuperChick & SuperDude! Add to it a host of volunteers with a passion for helping children gain wisdom and understanding in foundational Biblical truths... and well, you’ve got Hallelujah House!
With large-group worship and praise that is full of energy and fun songs, skits, videos and puppets that come to life, Hallelujah House is always a favorite time for the kids and is certain to hold great truths!! And with every child as part of a small group, kids are sure to make friends and get a ton of care and love from their small group leader.

The WORD: Second Grade - Sixth Grade
Every Sunday the kids are challenged to worship God with all of their life! Our desire in the Word is that the kids will learn to love one another like Jesus taught, that they will apply His truths to their lives, and commit to a life of serving Him!
During Gravitate Time kids get to hang out in “The Alley” - a cool space where they can catch up with leaders and friends, play games, basketball, foosball, and even do crafts! Elevate Time: This is when the kids experience a powerful time of worship, learn about God’s WORD through drama, videos, music, teaching, and other crazy attention-getting methods! Navigate Time: Kids meet in small groups with their leaders, with the focus being to build relationships through discussions, activities and prayer.
The Word is a great, safe, fun and inviting ministry for kids of all backgrounds! Whether or not they have been in church since birth or just beginning ...this is the place for KIDS!

Special Needs
"Helping Hands" is our vibrant and growing special needs ministry here at First Woodway, with three fun and exciting classes for preschool through elementary kids every Sunday from 9:00 - 11:15 am. Inclusion is also available at these hours through the assignment of a special needs "buddy." We also offer a Special Needs adult Bible study class at 9:00 am.
Just a few of the highlights of the Special Needs Ministry include:
- Support groups, fellowships, and guest speakers on relevant topics... open to the community!
- VBS classes in June for special needs kids (on a reservation basis)
- Classes on Sunday and Wednesday Nights, allowing parents the opportunity to plug into First Woodway ministries
