Special Events

We offer a variety of fun & unique opportunities for family fun throughout the year, and a few special events just for kids!  Just a few are Easter Celebration, Kids Musical, VBS, Preteen Camp, Wednesdays with Woodway, Fall Festival, Thanksgiving Celebration, and the Christmas Eve Candlelight Service.

New Believers Class for Kids

February 5, 12 and 19
10:15 - 11:15 am (During the Sunday School hour)
This three-session class is designed to help children better understand the decision they have made to make Jesus the Lord of their life. We have two separate classes, designed especially for kids entering 1st-3rd grades, and those entering 4th-6th grades. Each child will receive a workbook... partly covered in class, and partly to be discussed at home between the parent and child.  To RSVP, please email . Baby Dedication Orientation

The next Baby Dedication Service will be Sunday, February 26th. If you are interested in having your child dedicated that day, you must attend a Baby Dedication Orientation. This informational class will focus on what a dedication is, as well as provide you with some excellent tools and resources for leading your child. We have two classes you may choose from. Bible Drill The Amazing Race

Boys' Missions Racecar Derby

One Sweet Night Father + Daughter Event

For Girls and their Dads (or Granddads/Father Figure), Birth-6th Grade
Limited to members and regular attenders of First Baptist Woodway
You won't want to miss this first annual Daddy + Daughter event! It will truly be "one sweet night" with horse and carriage rides, a keepsake photo, tables filled with petite desserts... and many more surprises. Tickets are required as space will be limited (128 seats only) and we are expecting a sell-out event. Cost is $5 per person, with a maximum of $15 per family. Tickets will be available for sale on Sunday morning, February 5th in the MAC. Friday Night Childcare

6:30 - 10:00 pm
These "Class Fellowship" nights are for Sunday School class members only, and free of charge to parents! We provide this ministry so parents can get together with members of their class for fellowship nights, or date nights! Children from infants - 6th grade are accepted. Please sign up through your Sunday School class - sign up sheets will be distributed in your class starting three weeks prior to each childcare night.

College Childcare Nights

6:30 - 10:00 pm
College childcare nights are open to the community.  Children from infants through 6th grade are accepted. These nights are fundraisers for the college ministry to help support students on missions trips and a donation to the ministry is requested. Mother's Day Out, 2011-2012

Mother's Day Out provides childcare for children ages four months through Pre-K.  We use a Bible-based curriculum, and strive to meet the spiritual, emotional, mental, physical and social needs of your child in a warm and loving environment.
